The upper chapel of the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. Built between 1242 and 1248 by King Louis IX of France it was originally restored by Eugene Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century and in the past few years has undergone another restoration process to clean the windows...thus a wonderful new light shines again through these beautiful windows that enclose the chapel. For a really special visit attend one of the many concerts that are held in this chamber regularly.
